Diggity and I brought OH I WISH to the Great Smoky Mountains for our first taste of winter in the Wienermobile. We took the snaky scenic krauts through the mountains and ended up at Newfound Gap, where the Appalachian Trail zigzags along the Tennessee/North Carolina border.

The Appalachian Trail traverses 2,168 miles and 14 states. Although we were just a mere 1,972 miles from the trail head in Ketahdin, Maine, we decided to boldly hike only 0.00003% of the Trail and call it a day.
