The hotdogger legacy
Even though only a little over 300 of us lucky dogs have held the prestigious hotdogging position since 1988, we seem to run into Wienermobile alumni everywhere we travel!
Case in point: In Mission, TX, a town near South Padre Island and the border of Mexico, we ran into a member of Hotdogger Class II. She showed us some serious Texas hospitality and grilled us steak for dinner, but one of our favorite parts of the visit was perusing all of her 1989 Wienermobile memorabilia. Check it out!
- Oh, how the whistle has evolved!
- It’s always hot dog time!
- Three whistles and a Hot Wheels hot dog. What a collection!

“Three whistles and a Hot Wheels hot dog. What a collection!”
That’s a start but you’ll need more to top “The Second Largest Wienermobile Collection On Earth.”
