Recently, I had the chance to drive the Wienermobile to my hometown in Pennsylvania. I knew my first stop was to pick up one of my best friends….my grandma! Her name is Louise, but to family and close friends she is simply known as Teed or Teedy. Fun Fact: My Hotdogger name is in honor of her!

Teed is 84-years-young and has never seen the Wienermobile before. Frankly, I felt it was time to get my buns in gear and roll on over to her place and give her a sneak peek. Well, you could imagine her surprise seeing me burst through the door knowing that I have been on a coast-to-coast weenie roast for 7 months.

Not only did I get to give her a tour of the Wienermobile, but I appointed her official Hotdogger for a day. It was one of the most franktastic memories that I will take with me from the road and I know it’s something we will both be talking about for buns and buns of years to come!
