Ok, so you probably have no idea who a Hotdogger is and what a Hotdogger does.

Well, it’s one of us, the guys and gals who drive the Wienermobile, criss-crossing the country, looking for bridges that are high enough to drive under so we don’t get stuck . We thought it was only fair that you get to see the inside of the Wienermobile – including the people driving it. So, that’s why we created this blog. We hope you enjoy reading our stories and experiencing what being a Hotdogger is all about. We appreciate every wave we receive on the road and are thrilled you’re reading and commenting here.

We’ll try to respond if we can… (after all, there’s a lot of ground to cover). – The Hotdoggers

South team continues further south

When Hotdoggers are asked to share fun facts about ourselves, my fun fact is always “I have never been outside of the United States.”  Though it is indeed factual, that piece of information is actually not very much fun at all.

While staying in McAllen, TX, the South Team decided to head even further south to pay a visit to our neighboring foreign country, Mexico!

Laura and I coexisting in two different countries!

Crossing the border was quite the rite of passage for me considering I had never left the country before.  Lil’ Links Laura and I spent our lovely afternoon exploring the charming town of Nuevo Progreso; we ate some delicious Mexican cuisine and purchased a handful of cool souvenirs such as this new guitar! I need to learn how to play the Official Wiener Jingle on it.

My new mustard-colored guitar!

I never dreamed that my Hotdogging adventures would lead me to a foreign country, but wishes really do come true with the Wienermobile (though we left WEENR parked stateside). I suppose my new fun fact about myself will have to be “I’ve never left North America” or possibly “I can type 95 words per minute.”

  1. I was on my way to Houston and I saw you heading towards Bryan Texas in the Wienermobile. Will you come see us here in Aggieland soon?

  2. I’m sorry , but you still have not left North America. For the geographically challenged, North America consists of Canada, The United States, and Mexico.

Uhm… what about for the literacy challenged? Maybe you should re-read that last sentence.

    P.S. You forgot Central America.
