First Snow Day Experience
For this native Texan girl, snow is not a normal occurrence. So, when I walked out to RELSHME one early October morning in Cheyenne, Wyoming, I was astounded by the sight of snow! Snow flurries are about as dramatic as it gets back home and it usually happens in late January or February (if it happens at all). So you get the picture, I had never sausage a thing.
As for my partner, Tailgatin’ Traci, snow is part of life in Wisconsin, and she had buns of fun watching me freak out at what I was seeing. She was a great help however teaching me to be extra cautious while driving and how to brush snow off the Wienermobile (which I had never done before).
And frankly, living and experiencing something so different from home is exactly what this job has to offer, and I am sure glad I was one of the lucky dogs able to cut the mustard.
