Finding a Needle in the Bun Roof

You can get a great view of Seattle from atop the Space Needle. I however think the best view is through the bun roof of the Wienermobile! Check out this great nighttime shot of the famed 605-foot-tall landmark.

When the Wienermobile heard that the very first Wal-Mart was in Bentonville, AR we had to go see it. Walton’s five and dime was the very first general store operated by Sam Walton which would later grow into Wal-Mart. Today Walton’s five and dime in Bentonville, AR serves as Wal-Mart’s museum. I had a bun of fun learning about Walmart’s rich history. Below I included a photo of me shaking the hand of Sam Walton (Large cutout of Sam Walton)!!!

Afloat on a boat. I'm a poet, don't you know it?

Tis a proven scientific fact that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Therefore, the Northwest Hotdoggers decided to save a few hours of driving by putting WEENR on a ferry from Silverdale, Washington to Whidbey Island.

Many children assume that the Wienermobile can fly. Though they are incorrect in that assessment, they would be pleased to know that the Wienermobile has happily floated across a sizable body of water.

Both WEENR and the Hotdoggers appreciated our little break from being on the road. We felt like sea-faring Vikings who conquered an expansive ocean (though the Puget Sound in Washington is technically an inlet).

Inclined to have some fun

Pittsburgh, PA was one of the last cities Torey Toppings and I visited together. We took a ride to the top of Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington on the Monongahlea Incline, which happens to be the tallest and steepest incline in the United States.

Later that night we drove a fearless B0L0GNA to the top Mount Washington to get the same view at night. Look at how bunderful the Pittsburgh skyline looks from this vantage point!

Hey Pittsburgh! Be sure to ketchup with the Wienermobile at the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 13th.

Great Dogs!

Great dogs are amazing! and the Wienermobile knows it. This is one of the Wienermobile furry friends that strike a pose for us in one of our event in Los Angeles, California. This dog is on training to be a companion dog and help the blind. What an amazing dog! Afte rall, Great dogs hang out with the best dogs!

There are 6 Wienermobile vehicles that travel the United States, making it a truly special ocasion when you finally see one. Sometimes I hear people exclaim when they see it for the first time, ”it really DOES exist!”. Thats how I felt when I ran into the Tooth Fairy in Denver, CO!

The Wienermobile stopped by a Fiesta Grocery store for one of their festivals. It was a bun of fun! They had a wide variety of animals in their petting zoo. I befriended a camel which was a first for me.

Gator Franks?

After defying death in the Everglades, Lil Links Laura and I decided it was kill or be killed. So we stopped by a local barbecue spot to try a very local flavor - alligator meat! Laura got us started with some appetizers . . .

Sampling some gator bites

Alligator is very tasty - pretty chewy meat, with a delectable taste! I liked it so much, I had to try the other alligator menu item . . .

Gator Sausage (doing my best gator smile)

Gator sausage was everything I hoped it would be - juicy, filling, and something I could really sink my teeth into!

A Day at Bass Pro Shop

I love the outdoors, and The Bass Pro Shop has it all. You can literally walk around this store for hours. So while shopping for winter clothes, I got a little distracted with everything around me.
