In the South, Pepper Jackie Cheese, WEENR and I consider ourselves honorary cowboy and cowgirls of the Lone Star State. Craving adventure, we wrangled up some great journeys during our time here in Texas, from discovering what it means to “Keep Austin Weird” to diving belly-first into Houston, dubbed America’s “Dining Out Capital.” One of the trips we relished the most was to a ranch out in Hempstead, Texas.  Out in the countryside, we were surrounded by nothing but peace, quiet, and of course, some Americana. Here we are, just a couple of cheesy-weenies and our Lamborghweenie…deep in the heart of Texas.
