Ok, so you probably have no idea who a Hotdogger is and what a Hotdogger does.

Well, it’s one of us, the guys and gals who drive the Wienermobile, criss-crossing the country, looking for bridges that are high enough to drive under so we don’t get stuck . We thought it was only fair that you get to see the inside of the Wienermobile – including the people driving it. So, that’s why we created this blog. We hope you enjoy reading our stories and experiencing what being a Hotdogger is all about. We appreciate every wave we receive on the road and are thrilled you’re reading and commenting here.

We’ll try to respond if we can… (after all, there’s a lot of ground to cover). – The Hotdoggers

Cruisin’ the Twin Cities

Joey Bologna and I decided to venture out on a drizzly off-day in St. Paul, Minnesota. We thought the nation’s biggest hot dog on wheels would like to see the nation’s third largest cathedral, The Cathedral of Saint Paul. BOLOGNA had to stay outside, but we were  lucky enough to get a quick tour of the inside. The cathedral, which is the highest point in the city, is only a few years older than the first Wienermobile. The outside of the cathedral was completed in 1915, and the first Wienermobile hit the hot dog highways in 1936.

That night we decided to cross something off of our bucket list and take BOLOGNA to a movie. I relished my very first drive-in from an extra-special seat atop the bunroof. We’re looking forward to other adventures in the Twin Cities, but somehow I don’t think BOLOGNA will be able to fit inside the Mall of America.

  1. Dear Joey Bologna,

It is very exciting to see the Weiner Mobile in the midwest. As much as it’s great to see the twin cities, I suggest making your way to Waterloo, IA – now that’s where the fun is!!

    Love Always,

  2. Dear Joey Bologna,

The midwest sounds great but you should take a side trip to the U.S. space and Rocket center in Huntsville Alabama. I am sure you would enjoy it here very much

    Sincerely your biggest fan
