Life Inside the Wienermobile Vehicle

Stories from the road

Wienermobile Hangs With the Big Guys.

While cruising the Hot dog Highways in RELSHME, I saw these dinosaurs that were as tall as the Wienermobile. In a city near by Albuquerque, New Mexico, there are fans of the Wienermobile and dinosaurs.

The street where I took this pictures also had murals of dinosaurs and big replicas of them like the one in the pictures.

Only for the Wienermobile

This is so cool.  I didn’t even know that it existed.  I’m talking about the Wienermobile parking sign. It is franktastic and bunderful. It adds a lot of fun to every event.  As soon as we put the Wienermobile parking sign up, people asks us were they could get one or if we sell them.  But it just exclusive for the Wienermobile

Feria in Los Angeles, CA

Our first event in the Los Angeles area was called “Feria del Mercado y de la Salud” For about five hours, people of all ages got samples of Oscar Mayer hot dogs and other products.  There were many raffles with Kraft Foods products as prizes.  People were able to have a fun times and even get a free health exam at the event. We are always happy to  participate in such a family event!

Making History

As Hotdoggers, we commit for an entire year to cruise across the hot dog highways spread miles of smiles, make the magic happen everywhere we go with the Wienermobile and many more great things. One other part of our job is to make history. We are historical makers!

Doggone Dave and I, were on our way to Las Vegas and decided to take a couple minutes to admire the landscape, take some pictures and keep making history! As we walked back where we parked the Wienermobile, people surrounded the Wienermobile to look at it and snap a picture. What a great feeling to put a smile on their faces!

Sunshine Acres

Rain or shine the Wienermobile shows up to bring Miles of Smiles. On a half rainy day, we went to visit Sunshine Acres in Mesa, AZ. They had their annual fundraiser lunch and they showed vehicles such as the Wienermobile and local show cars. Sunshine Acres is home for more than sixty children. The place provides a safe environment for the children to grow up and get an education.  What a bunderful day for them to have the Wienermobile for a day at their home! Franks a lot! I loved the event everyone was so nice and the kids were so happy to see the 27-foot long American Icon.

Fire Hot Fajitas for Dinner.

As Hotdoggers we have been to many places from coast to coast for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but I had never had dinner with firefighters at a fire station before. It was amazing! The firefighters saw us at one of the stores we were working and invited us to have dinner with them. They even gave us a ride in the fire truck and let us try on their gear. Thanks for the great dinner!

Jingle Singer Finalist

Many years ago, Evan sang the Wiener Jingle and became part of the thirty finalist for the champion of the Wiener Jingle contest. His mom told us that the Wienermobile came to their house and gave them a ride. They even got the chance to fly to Florida for the final competition. Evan said his mom saw us in the store parking lot and she went and pick him up right away. Evan even still remembers the Wiener Jingle!

A Birthday Suprise In Scottsdale, AZ.

Many people say “Oh I Wish! the Wienermobile can show up in my house or on my birthday”. And that is exactly what happened to Daniel and Amanda. Their dad saw the Wienermobile couple weeks ago in Scottsdale, Arizona and took a blurry picture to show his daughters that the Wienermobile exists, but he said it was like showing figfoot pictures to them with no definitive proof. So we showed up in their house and took the eight year old twins for a ride! It was amazing to see their smiles and happiness as they enjoy their Wienermobile visit!

A Good Cardio Exercise For Hotdoggers!

Arizona and its cities have plenty of activities for its visitors.  After a day in Scottsdale, AZ, Doggone Dave and I had a list of things to do with our free time.  Top of the list was to go to Camelback mountain. As we got to the starting point of the trail, we saw giant cactus’s and desert like vegetation.  We stop and took scenic pictures while catching our breath.

From the top of Camelback Mountain, the view was magnificient.  I couldn’t help to strike a pose and share the amazing view.  You can also enjoy Doggone Dave shadow!

Great Dogs!

Great dogs are amazing! and the Wienermobile knows it.  This is one of the Wienermobile furry friends that strike a pose for us in one of our event in Los Angeles, California. This dog is on training to be a companion dog and help the blind.  What an amazing dog! Afte rall, Great dogs hang out with the best dogs!
