Life Inside the Wienermobile Vehicle

Stories from the road

Invitation to a Californian Castle

The best part of this job, has to be all the bunderful people that appreciate the Wienermobile and the franktastic stories they talk about. At one of our events Atta-Dog Adam and I got invited to a Californian Castle and had an experience we will forever remember. We drove 45 min to find this castle, and in the middle of all the mountains, an Irish style castle laid on 500 acres of land. Here are a few pictures with the Wienermobile by our side.

The Giving Tree

Atta-dog Adam and I found the largest tree we had ever seen in Santa Barbara, CA. I had never seen a tree this large. This beautiful tree provides shade for many people that are waiting for the train. Even the Wienermobile enjoyed a little shade while exploring the roots of this huge tree.

It’s Snowing!

Driving through Vail, Colorado Atta-Dog-Adam and I got to enjoy the beautiful view of the first snow fall. Being from Texas you don’t get to see snow, so I was really excited. We decided to relish the moment and get some hot chocolate to continue our drive to Denver.

Rawring Across the Valley

Traveling through the Southwest Atta-Dog Adam and I found more dinosaurs in Nevada. I love dinosaurs so anytime we see a museum or park we definitely have to stop. Here are a couple of pictures of our adventure with our fun bun.

Beauty Queens Love the Wienermobile

While in L.A. Atta-Dog-Adam and I made some new friends with some beauty pageant contestants. It was a very exciting experience to actually see what goes on at a beauty pageant. Girls ranged from 1 to 19yrs old.

The Love for Oscar MAYER

Traveling through Southern California has been quite the adventure. Our friends in Lawndale, CA have really showed us how much they appreciate Oscar Mayer and the presence of the Wienermobile. The joy of spreading miles of smiles across the Southwest has been great. Here is one of our many loyal customers at a retail event held in Lawndale, CA with her Oscar Mayer memorabilia. Her stories about the Vernan, CA Oscar Mayer plant and her childhood memories she will forever cherish as a child.

San Clemente Street Fiesta

San Clemente, Ca is known for their annual street fiesta, and Atta-dog Adam and I were able to relish the experience. Having over 15,000 people attend this event was bigger than I would have ever imagined. The delicious food and fabulous jewelry were a few of the great things at this event.

It’s Fiesta Time at The Feria!

Southern California has been a great experience and the best part of our events so far have definitely been “The Feria del Mercado.” People dancing, and enjoying Oscar Mayer hot dogs and singing the Oscar Mayer jingle in Spanish, it doesn’t get better than this. Here is a glimpse of what goes on at these events, loads of fun and crazy MC’s dancing away.

Protecting our buns in L.A. Traffic

California traffic is a little crazy. Passengers are so excited to see the Wienermobile on I-10 that they are taking pictures while riding shot-bun. I have to admit, we are on a good start to spreading miles of smiles across the southwest region of the U.S. Just a precaution always wear your meat belts while driving on I-10.

Nothing but T-bone fossils in Colorado

Traveling across Colorado Atta-Dog-Adam and I decided to head to the Colorado Dinosaur Museum to check out the history of dinosaurs in the rocky state. To our surprise this quaint little city of Fruita was excited to see us and ask about the reason for our visit.  We just wanted to see dinosaurs was our response. We had the pleasure of taking photos with a couple of travelers and headed back on the road to Utah where we had to stop and take a picture of the state line.
