This past week Hot-Diggity Holly, WEENR and I hauled buns down to Memphis, TN for a crazy little thing called Elvis Week!

This year commemorated the 35^th anniversary of Elvis’s death with a whopping 75,000 fans, two Hotdoggers, and a Wienermobile in attendance!  Team South went into ultimate tourist mode, basking in all of glorious sights of Memphis!

When WEENR heard there was a pink Cadillac she insisted on visiting Graceland!

Although WEENR couldn’t make the voyage up the driveway of Graceland herself, we did make sure that Elvis got a Wiener Whistle!

Elvis is a staple on the WEENR Jamz playlist, so the gang headed down to Sun Studios to see where the King was born!

We also added a personal touch to the “Nostalgia Collection” in the studio.

Finally a HUGE  frank you to our host/friend/tour guide, Jerry as well as the Talbot Heirs Hotel, for showing us such a great time in Memphis!
